East Meets West Provisions was founded in 2025 by two combat medics volunteering in Ukraine. We are a tactical and everyday gear brand and retailer based in Ukraine. 

The idea for the company began in the bleak midwinter on the Zaporizhzhia axis (pictured ). The original conversation was about tactical pajamas— yes, that’s how we entertain ourselves on winter CASEVAC rotations. That conversation evolved into the following mission: 

To connect the free world with Ukraine’s most innovative tactical solutions; we bridge the gap between frontline necessity and global preparedness by integrating battle-proven gear and knowledge to ensure a freer, united future.

How we work: 




Gear provision: 
We team up with our Ukrainian partners to bring you a solid lineup of tactical and everyday carry gear,  from mag pouches, dump pouches and IFAKs to EDC sling bags, organizers, and more. We also design our own original products and merch.

Knowledge transfer: 
What can we learn from Ukraine? Quite a bit. Gear selection, medicine, tactics, how-to’s — we’re bringing those hard-won lessons from the front lines to the rest of Europe and beyond. 

Why we do what we do:

Support Ukraine and Promote Ukrainian-Made Gear:
All products are made right here in Ukraine  and are shipped via the legendary Ukrainian postal service, Nova Poshta, providing critical support to local economies and workers. 
Each product sold equals money invested into our Ukrainian partner brands, allowing them to grow and reinvest in their own research and development. Most manufacturers don’t get the funding they need to run at full capacity. We pay the manufacturers fairly, so by buying our products you are helping Ukraine, not taking valuable kit away from those who need it.
Ukrainian tactical gear companies are eager to export to the rest of the world— we provide the bridge and connect you with the best Ukraine has to offer.

The right to independence and self-determination.  
Responsible citizenship: we believe every person has a responsibility to their neighbor, community and country to be prepared to defend this independence. Ukraine has shown the world that everyday people are capable of not only defending their homes, but of liberating their cities and towns from occupation. They did this through both preparation and rapid adaptation and innovation. The russian invasion of Ukraine has also manifested the fragility of peace in Europe, and the world and the need for every person to be prepared to do their part should the worst come to pass.
