Overview
The “Kyset” Dump pouch is designed for quickly storing spent magazines while also increasing magazine carrying capacity. Backed by tegris for a sturdy mounting and easy indexing, the pouch also features a unique flap also allows you to close it without removing the magazine from the pouch. A drawstring closure is located at the top of the pouch to keep spent magazines from falling out when you’re on the move. The bottom of the pouch is constructed from heavy-duty mesh to allow for drainage.

We love any bit of gear that serves two purposes and does both well; especially when that second purpose increase ammo carrying capacity. What we love about so much of Ukrainian tactical gear design is dual functionality that doesn’t equate to bulkiness. The Kyset dump pouch takes up just two columns of Molle space and lies very flat when rolled up and not in use (which is great in a vehicle), all while carrying an extra magazine. Can’t beat that.
Dump pouches are essential kit for most roles on the modern battlefield. For discarding magazines, in Ukraine you can’t just drop mags on the ground and expect to magically have them restocked when you return from a mission: you reuse the mags you have. Also, sometimes you get stuck in an extended firefight and have to reload your mags in position; you’ll need your empty mags safely stored on your person for that. As medics, we use dump pouches for more than just empty mags, we use them to discard wrappers from medical supplies, a sharps container, briefly stowe a bag/bottle of lactated ringers or a case of, etc. the list goes on.
When you’re bumping around in the back of an evac vehicle you can’t just set an item down and expect it to be there when you turn back (unless you’ve adequately secured it) your work table is your kit and your hands until it’s on the patient or otherwise secured.
About the Manufacturer
Pro-Tec started in 2015, Kherson oblast, Ukraine, 2 friends, armed with a Soviet sewing machine and YouTube videos started experimenting with various fabrics to make high-quality gear. with no prior experience they started off making equipment for themselves and friends, with no real plans to take it any farther. they wanted to make cool, innovative equipment which was hard to come by in Ukraine at the time. every product made, every YouTube video watched improved the next product made. word spread and they soon found themselves making gear for more than just friends and family, people would send them photos of an interesting piece of kit they wanted made and they would make it happen. In 2022 their world was turned upside down, while the muscovites occupied Kherson and they were looting the shopping centre across the street, these guys were sewing Plate carriers from whatever supplies they had left over. by the time they managed to escape the occupied city they couldn’t bring any of their sewing equipment. they had to start all over again. because of their already impressive reputation at the time they managed to take out a loan to buy sewing equipment, thanks to loyal customers who bought products and paid in advance so they could set up production again, the 2 friends rented an apartment where they would sleep in one room and sew tactical gear in the other. that is how the brand managed to make a fresh start. Their main goal is to ship as many products as they can, with the best possible prices while not compromising on quality.
