Overview
The Double Horizontal Mag Pouch is designed to give additional magazine storage for plate carriers, with mounting flexibility that allows for a streamlined “dangler style” fit to a carrier. It securely holds two M4/AR 5.56 or two AK 5.45 magazines using an elastic body and shock cord for retention.
This is a great option if you’re in and out of vehicles a lot, the horizontal placement of the magazines (at least when placed on the front of the plate carrier) sits more naturally when you’re seated in a vehicle than extra mag pouches on your belt/placard/cummerbunds. Also great if you need a clever way to carry more ammunition but have run out of space in the usual spots.
