Overview
The Rhizome Systems Helmet Scrim is a lightweight, laser-cut oak-leaf camouflage cover that breaks up the recognisable silhouette of a combat helmet. It’s built from Rhizome’s Cordura Mil-Spec fabric with an NIR/IRR treatment to help defeat night-vision detection, and weighs in at a barely-there 70g.
The scrim mounts using an elastic shock cord and four Velcro One-Wrap holders, so it goes on and off in seconds and works over most standard helmet covers. 23 sets of slots around the leaf pattern let you thread in extra natural foliage for additional concealment, and the low-profile design won’t interfere with NVGs or other helmet-mounted gear.

About the Manufacturer
Rhizome Systems was founded in 2022, in Kyiv, Ukraine. They specialise in the use of high-end materials and manufacturing techniques. never taking ”good enough” over perfection. You can gain some insight into how they go about that on their Instagram account, they are always experimenting with something, toying around with new materials and techniques. the company was born out of the desire to help equip the military with the best of the best, which they take a lot of pride in. but rather than sitting still they continuously try to outdo themselves, they use nothing but the best materials, if you ever find an issue with your gear and let them know, they will probably address the issue and change their production pattern within a few days. but to date we haven’t been able to find any issues with any of their kit.
